Smart Energy Management for Buildings
CamIn’s case study examines how an energy utility identified new smart energy management products and services to help customers decarbonize commercial, office, and residential buildings. The analysis evaluated 20 technology use cases across monitoring, demand response, grid interactivity, and optimization, narrowing them to nine high-potential opportunities and five product/service areas now being piloted. Key technologies include AI-driven energy optimization, IoT sensors, digital twins, predictive maintenance, renewable energy and storage management, and automated demand response. These solutions can reduce energy costs and emissions while improving grid resilience, regulatory compliance, and building performance, creating new service and revenue opportunities for utilities.
