Digital Applied highlights Anthropic research analyzing roughly 400,000 Claude Code sessions, finding that domain expertise may matter more than coding experience when working with AI agents. Non-software professionals achieved verified success rates within five percentage points of software engineers, while expert users generated far more AI actions and output per prompt than novices. Success was linked to three behaviors: clearly defining the desired outcome, specifying how results should be verified and recognizing and correcting AI mistakes.
