This case study explains how FLSmidth implemented a freestanding swing arm fall-protection system from Rigid Lifelines to improve worker safety during installation and maintenance of large crusher equipment. Workers were previously hesitant to climb onto crushers due to fall risks and improvised tie-off methods. The installed system provides 360-degree coverage, overhead attachment to eliminate swing-fall risk, and dual fall-arrest tracks allowing two workers to operate simultaneously.
