A leading fast-food chain faced an urgent data center closure and needed a rapid, secure migration to AWS. Apps Associates executed a VMware-to-AWS transformation using a customized migration strategy, including rehosting, replatforming, and retiring unnecessary systems. The migration involved 29 servers, large-scale data transfer, and implementation of a secure multi-account architecture. Despite tight timelines, the project achieved zero operational disruptions and improved system performance, including doubling SQL query speeds. The new AWS environment enhanced scalability, security, and disaster recovery capabilities, enabling the company to modernize its infrastructure while maintaining uninterrupted business operations.
