American Commercial Lines (ACL) needed a more flexible and cost-effective infrastructure for its mission-critical Oracle EBS system as its hosting contract ended. Apps Associates executed a three-month migration to AWS, including testing and integration phases, with minimal downtime of just four hours during production cutover. The migration provided a stable, high-performance environment with improved scalability and cost efficiency. ACL eliminated latency concerns, reduced infrastructure costs, and gained the ability to scale resources on demand. The successful transition positioned the company to expand its cloud footprint and modernize additional applications in the future.
