Astral Brands, an Atlanta-based skincare and cosmetics company with products sold globally through multiple retail channels, needed a more flexible and resilient storage infrastructure to support its e-commerce platforms and product management operations. Before deploying StarWind Virtual SAN (VSAN), the company operated VMware ESXi hosts using direct-attached storage, which limited workload mobility and made it difficult to leverage shared storage capabilities across multiple hosts.
