Bolivian telecommunications provider Entel modernized its cybersecurity architecture to protect national data centers, private cloud services, and communications supporting more than seven million users. FortiGate firewalls created an integrated hybrid-mesh architecture, while FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer centralized policies, monitoring, analytics, reporting, and threat visibility. A deployment planned for 60 days was completed in less than one month, accelerating implementation by more than 50%. Improved detection and analysis reduced response times for certain security processes by 67%, while automation lowered operational effort and improved staff efficiency.
