SSOE, a global architecture and engineering firm, partnered with Workhuman in 2016 to create a custom recognition platform, C3, to foster a culture of recognition. The platform enabled peer-to-peer recognition, ensuring visibility across the organization. It also incorporated a Standard of Living Index to make rewards equitable across regions. By making recognition frequent and impactful, SSOE improved employee engagement and retention, especially during COVID. In 2023, 95% of employees were recognized, demonstrating the platform's success. The company’s focus on recognition has helped retain top talent and strengthen its global culture.
