A large Burlington County, New Jersey high school district partnered with Eastern DataComm to modernize its communication systems and strengthen school safety across four high schools and one alternative program serving nearly 7,000 students. The district needed a more effective phone system, enhanced emergency communication, and faster lockdown capabilities. Eastern DataComm implemented a new multi-line phone system integrated with the district’s emergency notification platform, upgraded PA systems, and installed its Lockdown and Emergency Notification System (LENS). The solution included wireless speakers, LED signs and beacons, pre-recorded announcements, and automated simultaneous calls to 911 and local police.
