To monitor 200G of communication traffic resulting from combined 100G upstream and downstream links, Fujitsu developed the Proactnes II QM solution, avoiding the complexity of multiple 10G lines. Integrating Napatech’s FPGA-driven SmartNICs and advanced Link Capture software enabled this high-performance architecture. Napatech's specialized software played a critical role by driving zero-loss packet capture and precise data processing directly at the network layer. By offloading resource-heavy analysis from host CPUs, the software-driven optimization eliminated performance bottlenecks. This integration allowed Fujitsu to deliver a simplified, cost-effective monitoring platform that provides the exact visibility and throughput needed to manage dense telecom carrier environments.
