Virtus Data Centres helped by designing and implementing advanced liquid cooling solutions tailored to support a multi-megawatt AI workload with power densities beyond traditional air-cooling capabilities. Their flexible infrastructure allowed a combination of air and direct-to-chip liquid cooling technologies within the same networking environment, ensuring efficient thermal management, high performance, and energy efficiency. Virtus also developed supporting mechanical systems, like thermal stores and chillers, to handle fluctuating cooling demands, maintaining low power usage effectiveness (PUE) and operational reliability for AI workloads.
