This case study describes how Agristo enhanced cold storage logistics by implementing Dematic automation to support growing production while preserving product quality. Dematic installed the tallest high‑bay warehouse in the Benelux region, reaching 47.5 meters and capable of storing up to 43,000 pallets at minus 25 degrees Celsius using triple‑deep storage. At Agristo’s headquarters in Harelbeke, a fully automated high‑bay warehouse with storage and retrieval machines, conveyor systems, and pallet lifts was deployed to increase capacity and efficiency. The solution builds on automation already implemented at Agristo’s other facilities, enabling scalable, reliable, and temperature‑controlled storage to support long‑term growth.
