Previously, only a few specialists could complete the task, often taking up to seven hours per model. Working with Altair, Accuride developed a HyperWorks-based automated meshing solution that standardized workflows and embedded expert knowledge into an easy-to-use interface. The solution enabled engineers of all skill levels to generate meshes in minutes while maintaining quality standards. As a result, Accuride reduced meshing time to seven minutes per model, saving an estimated 765 engineering hours annually and accelerating decision-making across teams.
