The solution was designed to provide dense storage, streamline inventory retrieval, and eliminate congestion caused by manual planned item retrieval processes. Replacing the existing operation, the automated system retrieves items based on warehouse management system requests and delivers them via conveyors to a centralized picking area with operator workstations. The approach improved workflow, reduced inefficiencies, created a more labor‑friendly environment, and enabled faster, more accurate order fulfillment while optimizing freezer space and overall warehouse performance.
