ElbertonNET Extended the Life of Its IPv4 Resources with Carrier Grade NAT
ElbertonNET, the municipal broadband provider for Elberton, Georgia, implemented ZCorum's Carrier Grade NAT solution to address growing IPv4 address shortages caused by increasing subscriber devices and expanding broadband demand. Rather than continuing to purchase expensive IPv4 address blocks, the provider deployed a software-based CGNAT appliance that allowed dozens of subscribers to share a single public IP address while maintaining full internet accessibility.
