Enabling early detection and prevention of genetic diseases
The Center of Excellence for Medical Genomics (CEMG) in Thailand enhanced its capabilities in genetic screening, diagnosis, and precision medicine by expanding its genome sequencing infrastructure with Lenovo ThinkSystem SR950 V3 servers powered by advanced Intel Xeon processors. As part of Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Medicine, CEMG focuses on clinical genomic services, research, and training. The upgraded infrastructure enables faster and more efficient processing of complex genomic data, supporting early detection and prevention of genetic diseases. This advancement strengthens research innovation, improves patient outcomes, and supports the development of precision medicine while ensuring CEMG can meet growing demand for high-performance genomic analysis.
