The Delaware Department of Health and Social Services faced difficulties in conducting federally required audits for child care programs due to limited staffing, complex reporting rules, and the absence of an audit tracking system. To address this, Conduent partnered with the agency to adapt its Case Review Tracker, customizing it to meet Delaware’s child care regulations. The tool enabled comprehensive case tracking, search functionality, data validation, quality assurance with secondary reviews, and automated reporting to reduce clerical work. As a result, DHSS achieved more efficient processes, enhanced accuracy, consistent practices, reduced workloads, and improved decision-making.
