Antel partnered with Entrust to build a secure, nationwide electronic identity and digital signing infrastructure in Uruguay that is accessible across multiple devices. The goal was to create a system capable of managing digital identities throughout their lifecycle while securely generating and protecting cryptographic keys for certificates and signatures. Using Entrust Remote Signing Server, PKI solutions, and nShield hardware security modules, Antel developed integrated, secure identity and signature services. This solution supports both public and private sector systems, enabling trusted digital interactions while ensuring strong security, compliance, and ease of use for citizens.
