EVR Motors Develops New Simulation-Aided E-Motor Topology
EVR Motors developed a novel electric motor topology using Altair simulation tools to disrupt traditional e-mobility design. Rather than optimizing existing architectures, EVR introduced a patented trapezoidal stator design requiring advanced multiphysics analysis. Using electromagnetic, mechanical, and optimization simulations, engineers validated performance before building prototypes. This approach significantly reduced prototype count while achieving high simulation accuracy. The resulting motor was lighter, more compact, and cost-effective compared to existing solutions. Simulation enabled EVR to innovate rapidly, reduce development risk, and bring a competitive electric motor to market faster.
