FIS faced issues with card rejects caused by dust and debris in its card personalization system, leading to increased effort in maintaining image quality. To address this, Entrust introduced the Artista VHD Retransfer Color Printing Module Gen 2, featuring integrated card cleaning and an enhanced detection monitoring system. This improved print quality and reduced defects by ensuring cleaner cards throughout the process. As a result, FIS was able to decrease card rejects, improve overall production efficiency, and reduce the time required for quality assurance, leading to more reliable and consistent card output.
