Georgia DHS relied on an aging, on-prem Document Imaging System used by tens of thousands of users, but growing data volumes and outdated hardware caused security and performance issues. TekStream assessed the environment, recommended rehosting on AWS and secured more than $250K in MAP funding to cover migration costs. Using AWS Direct Connect, Snowball and Oracle upgrades, TekStream migrated over 70 TB of data with minimal downtime and modernized the application to WebCenter 12c. The cloud deployment improved scalability, security and long-term maintainability.
