Case Study
Global Handling of Desktop Services
Following a merger between two global food manufacturers, the lead organization asked its outsourcing partner to take over desktop services for more than 4,500 employees across 15 countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The transition had to be completed within just four weeks, despite the scale and complexity of the environment. Additional challenges included legal requirements to retain certain local contractor engineers at acquired sites, as well as client requests to keep specific personnel. A coordinated global approach was implemented to ensure continuity of desktop support, rapid knowledge transfer, and smooth integration across regions. The result was a successful, on‑time takeover that stabilized IT operations while respecting legal, operational, and staffing constraints
