CASE STUDY Hospital Operating Room Case Goods Made with King MediGrade ® Clarion Hospital collaborated with Kahle’s Kitchens design team to replace the existing case goods with a super-tough polymer material with an antimicrobial called King MediGrade ® . The new material holds up to the toughest environments and is effective in protecting the product surface from bacterial degradation. The antimicrobial additive inhibits the ability of product-damaging microbes from growing and spreading on the surface. The case goods in Clarion Hospital’s operating room are made with 3/4” gauge sheets of King MediGrade ® . The hinges have a 170 degree opening with soft close by Blum ® . The glass doors have been milled from a solid sheet of King MediGrade ® and inserted with tempered safety
