INTA supports scientific research in aerospace, defense and advanced engineering, generating heavy data workloads that require fast, reliable restores. Pages 1–3 describe how legacy backup couldn’t keep pace with user needs, forcing full-mailbox restores just to recover a single email. INTA deployed Veeam Availability Suite to protect 80 TB, 300 VMs, 2,000 mailboxes and SAP HANA. Incremental backups, deduplication and granular recovery accelerate research, save storage and boost team efficiency. A future cloud-tier backup strategy will further increase resilience.
