An oil and gas producer in the western U.S., generating over $27 million annually, needed stronger disaster recovery and data management to meet state and federal requirements. Its DR site was inadequate, leaving data vulnerable. After two failed vendor attempts, Insight’s Cloud + Data Center Transformation team implemented a colocation facility using HPE SimpliVity, Azure Information Protection, and Imperva for structured data. The project covered 208 VMs, 52 workloads, and 300TB of data, uncovering prior data integrity issues. The solution ensured compliance, improved governance, and positioned the client for future digital transformation, including a potential SAP HANA upgrade.
