Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, a large system of seven universities and 30 state, community, and technical colleges, used Accruent’s EMS to centralize scheduling across 54 campuses, 14,400 staff and faculty members, and more than 4,000 academic programs. EMS replaced a fragmented patchwork of tools, enabling consistent management of events, classrooms, and resources such as vehicles, computers, and catering services. By standardizing data and improving visibility into room and asset use, the system helped identify underutilized space, eliminate roughly 60,000 square feet of waste, and realize about 50 million dollars in savings, while streamlining operations and planning for the entire college network.
