The Minnesota Wild, an NHL team based in St. Paul, partnered with Insight to refresh its aging IT infrastructure and improve capacity and performance at the Xcel Energy Center. With a small in-house IT staff managing both team and venue operations, Insight’s long-term managed services support allowed them to focus resources effectively. To address storage challenges, the solution included Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure for resiliency and scalability, along with Rubrik for backup and disaster recovery, leveraging existing hardware for cost efficiency. Supported by Insight’s OneCall program, the refreshed infrastructure improved reliability, security, and performance for live events.
