This case study describes how Nussbaum modernised and expanded its central warehouse to increase logistics capacity and performance for future growth. Partnering with Dematic, the company implemented a comprehensive intralogistics solution that combines a four-aisle automated small parts warehouse on the ground floor with a four-aisle Dematic Multishuttle system featuring twelve levels in the basement, alongside the existing high-bay warehouse. The parallel introduction of SAP EWM as the warehouse control and material flow system further enhanced efficiency, visibility, and automation. Together, these upgrades prepared Nussbaum to support higher throughput, improved order processing, and continued business expansion.
