MUM Industries, Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturing group overseeing several industrial product manufacturers, needed a more reliable and high-performing infrastructure to support its ERP system and business operations. Prior to implementing StarWind Virtual SAN (VSAN), the company sought a cost-effective way to create shared storage within a two-host VMware environment while ensuring continuous availability and strong storage performance. By deploying StarWind VSAN, MUM Industries built a hyperconverged storage layer that delivered high IOPS, real-time data synchronization, and highly available shared storage without the complexity of traditional SAN hardware. The solution improved application performance, enhanced fault tolerance, and enabled uninterrupted access to critical ERP workloads.
