Keyfactor helped the Netherlands Ministry of Justice and Security build a highly scalable, reliable, and transparent Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) platform using the open-source EJBCA solution. This enabled the Ministry to support critical identity and document verification needs, such as securing e-passports, visa stickers, and digital health certificates. Keyfactor’s platform provided full control and visibility without black-box limitations, allowing the Ministry to become a PKI center of excellence, expand use cases, and offer training and best practices across the EU with continued Keyfactor support.
