The H.U.G. Foundation helps young students develop reading skills, character, and confidence by pairing them with volunteer tutors. When COVID-19 restricted in-person sessions, H.U.G. needed a reliable way to continue tutoring remotely. Partnering with AT&T Business, they used AT&T mobile hotspots to provide fast, stable connectivity for virtual reading lessons. This solution allowed tutors to connect with students’ tablets in schools, even in rural areas. As a result, the program expanded to nine schools across two states, improving literacy and self-confidence, with plans to grow further thanks to AT&T’s dependable support.
