Case Study
Optimal Healthcare with Telemedicine
A hospital in Warsaw sought to introduce telemedicine to provide short virtual consultations for patients in cases where in‑person visits were not essential. The goal was to support services such as prescription renewals, routine check-ups, follow-up visits, and urgent consultations when on-site appointments were not possible. Since many of these interactions typically last only 10 to 15 minutes, a digital solution could significantly reduce patient effort by eliminating travel time and waiting rooms. Telemedicine also helped lower the burden on hospital facilities, improved access to care, and minimized unnecessary physical contact, which is especially critical during pandemics and in high-risk healthcare environments.
