Simulation-driven design enabled the team to redesign the component for improved durability while dramatically reducing material usage. The optimized design achieved major weight savings, reduced repair costs, and shortened replacement times through additive manufacturing. The project demonstrated how simulation-driven design can improve reliability, sustainability, and operational efficiency in industrial automation.
