PurpleJelly, a managed IT services provider in Surrey, England, needed to help a client company improve resilience and ensure continuous business operations. Before deploying StarWind Virtual SAN (VSAN), the client relied on a single HP pedestal server running Microsoft Hyper-V, creating a single point of failure with no failover protection or disaster recovery capabilities. To address these risks, PurpleJelly implemented StarWind VSAN and enabled full server virtualization through a highly available shared storage environment. The solution provided real-time data synchronization, seamless failover, and improved fault tolerance, eliminating infrastructure vulnerabilities and ensuring uninterrupted access to critical applications and services.
