Case Study
Rapid Cooling Tower Restoration Prevents Production Disruption
This case study describes how a production facility quickly resolved a leaking rooftop HVAC cooling tower after multiple repair attempts had failed. The leak originated from a long crack in the tower floor accompanied by significant concrete deterioration. To avoid prolonged downtime and restore temperature control, a repair solution was implemented using a high-adhesion epoxy sealing material capable of bonding to saturated surfaces, followed by a structural epoxy compound to rebuild damaged areas around the crack. The repair restored the cooling tower to full operation within hours, eliminating leakage, re-establishing efficient HVAC performance, and avoiding a potentially costly interruption to facility operations. The success of the project also led to broader adoption of the repair technology for additional maintenance applications.
