This case study illustrates how AI was used to identify and eliminate toxic chemical formulations early in the product development cycle. The customer needed a reliable way to assess safety in complex multiphase formulations, a challenge not addressed well by traditional toxicity models focused on single chemicals. Using AI, accurate toxicity prediction models were developed in just four weeks, achieving 82 percent accuracy. This approach enabled toxic recipes to be screened out before costly development and animal testing, significantly saving time and resources. The solution improved safety decision‑making while reducing reliance on late‑stage testing and accelerating responsible product innovation.
