Spartanburg School District Five strengthened campus safety by implementing a layered weapons detection strategy using Evolv Express and Evolv eXpedite across its schools. Following a successful pilot, the district expanded to 29 Express systems and four eXpedite units, improving morning arrival for more than 10,000 students while maintaining efficient entry. The solution helped reduce delays, simplified bag screening, and enabled teachers, administrators, and security personnel to confidently manage screening with minimal disruption. Evolv Insights and the MyEvolv Portal provided real-time monitoring, alert management, and remote system adjustments across campuses. Survey results showed high levels of user acceptance, with most students finding the process easy to follow and staff rating
