Birra Castello is advancing its digitalization journey to prepare its brewing operations for the future. With support from ProLeiT and system integrator PSM, the Italian brewery integrated the brewmaxx process control system at its Fabbrica in Pedavena plant as a first step toward greater automation and efficiency. The initiative modernizes production while preserving brewing traditions, improving process visibility, and strengthening operational control. Founded in 1997 and operating facilities in San Giorgio di Nogaro and Pedavena, Birra Castello produces beers tailored to Italian consumers, and this digital transformation positions the brewery for long-term competitiveness and growth.
