Case Study
Transforming Scientic Data Management with Dotmatics
The organization faced major challenges with legacy electronic lab notebooks that could not scale to support more than 6,000 users, leading to system strain, downtime, rising costs, and researcher frustration. Multiple disconnected ELNs created data silos that hindered collaboration, while separate handling of chemical and biological data made workflows complex and compliance difficult. These issues were resolved by adopting a unified ELN that consistently captured all scientific data and centralized registration and inventory for full traceability. A modern interface with integrated scientific tools streamlined daily work. The result was strong early adoption, growing interest from additional research teams, and plans to expand further within the Dotmatics ecosystem.
