Turkish City Boosts Cyber Resilience with SonicWall
Çatalca Belediyesi, a 500-employee municipality in Turkey, replaced an expensive and hard-to-manage competitor security product after concerns about disclosed vulnerabilities and high licensing costs. Working with SonicWall partner ITPort, the city tested SonicWall’s multi-engine sandbox and Capture Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), then deployed NSa and TZ Series next-generation firewalls to better stop advanced threats, centralize security operations, and reduce costs. The switch lowered total cost of ownership, provided “1 license for 2 device” High Availability licensing for both installation and renewal, enabled cloud management through Network Security Manager (NSM) as projects expanded, and improved support accessibility and training via SonicWall University.
