Children’s of Alabama, one of the nation’s largest pediatric hospitals, needed rapid recovery for EMRs, research systems and imaging. As detailed on pages 1–3, legacy backup took up to 13 hours to restore standalone EMRs. Veeam + ExaGrid now protect nearly 600 TB across 1,500 VMs, reducing RTO/RPO by 97% to 15 minutes. BC/DR testing that once took days now takes minutes. Veeam Availability Orchestrator is being evaluated for automated failover. The solution strengthens cybersecurity resilience amid rising healthcare ransomware threats.
