HPE StoreEver MSL tape libraries provide secure, scalable, and cost-effective LTO storage with air-gap protection against ransomware. To extend their benefits to Ethernet-based networks, the ATTO XstreamCORE ET 8200 bridge connects SAS tape drives over Ethernet using iSCSI/iSER protocols. This enables shared, distributed backups with direct-attached SAS performance, supporting up to 16 drives and 64 servers. Together, they deliver high-performance, Ethernet-connected tape storage for cloud, hyperscale, and open compute environments.
