Transition your fleet to electric vehicles
Full EV or hybrid? At the very start of your EV journey it’s worth looking at the full range of vehicles that currently offer a greener alternative to traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. Hybrid vehicles, which use a combination of fossil fuels and electricity, fall into this category. There are two types of ‘hybrids’: • Hybrid EV (HEV). These vehicles swap between petrol and electricity, with the battery generally being topped up by the vehicle’s conventional engine • Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV). These have the capability of being plugged into a charger. Although they are not as ‘green’ as a fully electric vehicles, both of hybrid options are still more sustainable.
