CISA’s Zero Trust Maturity Model provides U.S. government agencies with a framework for implementing Zero Trust architectures in support of Executive Order 14028, shifting security focus from the network perimeter to users, devices, and data. However, Zero Trust strategies can lack context behind user actions, limiting their effectiveness against insider risk.
