Building on the secure foundation established with 5G, the proposed 6G architecture introduces several enhancements, including native security across the radio access network, stronger key management for mobility, flexible user-plane security controls, and improved protection of user identities to prevent tracking and data leakage. The framework also emphasizes zero-trust network architecture, isolated security contexts across network functions, and secure message validation to reduce vulnerabilities such as man-in-the-middle attacks.
