Nearly half of blocked web transactions were stopped using known malicious behavior and signature-based detection. The most common attack type was predictable resource location attacks, which accounted for a large portion of incidents. Overall, web application attacks grew dramatically during the year, reflecting the increasing sophistication and scale of threats and emphasizing the need for stronger, more adaptive application security strategies.
