Global Consumer Insurance Rights
A global survey of 2,000 insurance consumers revealed strong demand for faster, more personalized, and digitally driven insurance experiences. While 73% of respondents preferred buying directly from insurance carriers and 37% rated their buying experience as good or very good, many consumers expressed dissatisfaction with communication and engagement. About 95% wanted more updates on claim status, yet 32% said they never heard from their insurer annually. Digital convenience also emerged as a priority, with 60% willing to use online services to switch providers and 45% preferring to manage policy changes through apps or websites. Consumers also showed interest in innovation, with 58% favoring usage-based insurance and 48% interested in add-on products.
