The research found that 55.5% of UK organizations derive less than half of their data’s potential value, while IT teams typically manage 11–20 repositories, creating significant data sprawl. UK respondents identified data sprawl as their top data-management challenge and compliance and regulatory issues as the leading data-control concern.
