Compared to other industries, they spend more on customer support and bug triage, dedicating 13% more resources there, which slows issue resolution and lengthens cycle times. Industry averages show fewer issues resolved and 46% fewer PRs reviewed, but EMP adoption improves performance with 11% more issues resolved, 5% more PRs merged, 6% more PRs reviewed, and a 7% drop in days per issue, enabling stronger innovation focus.
