The deal mix shifted notably, with infrastructure and full‑asset divestments accounting for a growing share of total value, reflecting operators’ efforts to fund network build‑outs and unlock capital. At the same time, regulators eased restrictions on scale deals, enabling a comeback in consolidation. As infrastructure investment ramps up, telcos face the challenge of capturing value quickly and strategically, or risk missing opportunities created by changing regulation, investor appetite, and rising data demand.
